We were particularly impressed with the use of our Recycled Messmate as bench tops and bathroom drawers in this Young Gun Builders display home in Moama. The use of geometric wallpaper and grey toned sink ware is particularly flattering. The black taps, shower heads and window frames add a resort style chic to the overall design. Gone are the days of colonial style, ornate, timber-on-timber kitchens and bathrooms. We're thrilled to be part of the more design-conscious era where complimentary materials are used to accentuate the natural beauty of recycled timber. It's a time of bold ideas, where pops of bright colour (see towels in picture two) and harsh man made materials such as concrete, glass and metal have become the perfect partners to sustainable timber. The heavily textured posts that you can see in the shower-facing garden are a perfect example of how a product once considered unsightly and in need of milling has been elevated to a level of living art.
